Do not burn the solar connectors!

Remember that the typical rating of solar connectors is 10 Amp. They can sustain max 15 Amp without overheating.

However the solar connectors are not designed to be used to disconnect the high voltage DC circuits under load. If the DC current is disconnected under the load, a severe parking will occur. The sparks will burn the contact pin of the solar connector. As a result the contact of the connecter will become poor and unstable. Such a poor connection will result into overheating and meting of the connector.

Warning: Never use the solar connector to disconnect DC currents under load. Do not overload the solar connectors, especially in case of the parallel mounting of solar panels.  If sparking occurred, disassemble the connectors (if possible) and clean the pins of the connectors. In case dis-assembly is not possible, replace the connector with a new one.
