GWL DC Contactors - How to connect?
Please follow the picture above for a correct connection of GWL DC Contactors:
1;2: Main switched power contacts (normally open).
- Note: these contactors are designed only for DC voltage up to 80V. They are not high voltage DC contactors. The contact of the DC contactor will burn by arcs when using with high DC voltages and high currents.
A1; A2: The Coil contacts
- Note: please use only the voltage that the contactor is made for. There are 12V, 24V and 48V coils models in GWL offer. See here the DC Contactors. Applying higher voltages to the coil will damage the contactor, the coil can “burn”.
Auxiliary contacts: Use AUX contacts only for low-current application, e.g.. status LED pilot lamp.
Contacts are labeled directly at the contactor body, please check your contactor specifications carefully before installation.
