No tracking for direct shipment of batteries or solar panels Question: I have ordered the batteries from your company. In the previous order, I got the tracking number for the TNT company. Now your colleague says there is no tracking number for the shipment. I worry a little bit. What is the problem? Answer: the small shipments dispatched by TNT are delivered by the TNT regular service through the TNT network. Thus there is a tracking possible at various locations where the shipments stops. However for larger orders (of batteries and of solar panels as well) the TNT will use a TNT Special Service for the delivery. This means the goods is loaded into a truck that will go directly from GWL’s warehouse to the customer location. For such direct delivery there is no tracking number. The driver of the trucks will received the customer phone number and he will contact the customer prior to the delivery to arrange for the details of the cargo unloading. The customer may need to wait one or two days until the driver will make the contact. | |
