LAN Controller:  MODULE-4-16 and MODULE-4-24 - What is the difference?

Both extension relay-boards for LAN Controller V2.0 offer the same functionality - extending switching capability of LAN Controller with four more relays. The difference is in the type of relays used. MODULE-4-16 offers stronger relays (Relpol RM85 – 240V/16A AC). RM85 relays have a 12V DC coil and require minimum 9V voltage for powering! (Of cause 12V is the best voltage level.)

FAQ: After connecting the MODULE-4-16the LAN Controller 2.0 is shutting down.

If your LAN Controller is shutting down during activity of MODULE-4-16 extension relay-board, please verify the input voltage and the power rating of LAN Controller external DC supply. The additional relays on MODULE-4-16 and MODULE-4-24 boards require a stronger power supply. We suggest to power at least from 12V/2A capable power supply.  (The minimum voltage is 9.00V.)
