BMS123 Data Logger connections
The BMS123 Data Logger has following connections:
- DC: Micro-USB DC power input (5V). For small battery pack (up to 16 cells) use the 5V/1A (or stronger) USB power source. For battery pack with many cells (16 cells and more) it is necessary to use least 5V/2A capable USB power supply.
- USB host port: Connect BMS123 Main Controller through enclosed USB (supplied with BMS) to the Micro-USB cable on the Data Logger.
- Keyboard/Mouse: (not supported) - for accessing to device memory via LAN connect the enclosed USB to LAN (RJ45) reduction cable
- TF: this slot is for MicroSD card (supplied with the product)
- HDMI: (not supported)
- Reset Button (Fn) - this is reset button only, do not connect anything to this position
How to power BMS123 Data Logger from 12V (in the car)?
The BMS123 Data Logger is powered from 5V USB connector. There is no 5V power adapter provided with the product. It must be purchased according to your needs.
One possible option is the adapter for converting 12V on-board socket to 5V USB connector. Please check with your local automotive component supplier. For permanent installations it is possible to purchase 12V to 5V DC-DC step down adaptor.
