Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) cell for high current applications GWL/Power is now testing the latest LTO technology cells designed for high current applications in traction or energy backup systems. The LTO technology using the nano particles of the mixture of the lithium tianium oxide compounds (e.g. Li2TiO3, Li4O4Ti, Li4Ti5O12) together with a professional industrial design of the cells allows for high charge and discharge rates. At first sight the massive blocks of the terminal poles are visible. The high current rated terminals allow the resistance-free flow of the energy from the cell.
