FAQ: I ordered 25 pieces of CBM1 cell balancing modules.
I installed these into my electro-scooter. I measure every single module. I found out that they start balancing at 4.0V. They should balancing at 3,6V with 1,7A. I can’t use these modules for my LiFePo4 Cells because balancing at 4.0V is much too high.

Answer: Please check the correct cross section of your wires.
With thin wires or bad contact of plug, it may lose almost 400 mV on the wire under the 1.5 A currents.

We recommend change the cabels to 2.5 mm2 copper wires and everything will work properly.

NOTE: The CBM1 boards have the ability to balance the cells with a rather small current (max. 1,7A). For large capacity of cells, we suggest to use additional CBM boards to increase the balancing currents for the cells. For high current charging it is recommended to connect multiple CBM boards in parallel to increase the total balancing currents.
