SBM connection diagram

The diagram shows the connection of 16 cells. The wiring is identical for smaller number of cells: 4 cells, 8 cells, 12 cells - only less cables needed.

Note the important additional components:

The fuse:  all battery packs need to have a proper fuse to protect against the short circuit. Check these articles about proper fusing:

The main switch: you always need to have a mechanical way to disconnect the battery pack from the load. Especially in cases when the pack will be left unattended for many months. 

The charger switch: the chargers should not be connected to battery packs permanently.  See the support article:
