Good feeling from completed projects of our clients

One of them is Mr. Konstantin from Stockolm. Konstantin bought motorbike Kawasaki GPZ750R1 from 1982 with broken engine and decide to convert it to electric drive.

Motor is Motorenergy ME1003 Brush-Type DC Motor. Very good motor, tolerates a lot of current. Controller is Alltrax Axe7245. Instrumentation is Cycle Analyst High Current version. The battery meter shows pack voltage, current use, speed, distance and more. 

As the power source Konstantin used 25pcs of well balanced WB-LYP60AHA bought from GWL/PowerNominal voltage is 80V. Battery pack capacity is 60 Ah (4.8kWh). Motorcycle weights 200 kg and uses average 0.82 Ah/km (65Wh/km).

With 80% of capacity (48Ah, 3.84 kWh), the bike can drive a distance around 50~60 km. The top speed of the bike is around 105 km/h. At normal cruising speed 70-80 km/h battery current is around 35-50 A, but at accelerations or top speed the current goes over 200 A.

And what are Konstantin’s next plans? To convert a Fiat 126 from 1970’s to electric also.
