FAQ: The current sensor for the LAN controller Question: I had purchased the current sensor (LAN-MODULE-CURR) for the LAN controller. How to connect it to LAN Controller and how to setup? Answer: The connection of the LAN-MODULE-CURR is very simple. You need three-wire cable between IDC10-2 connector and the current sensor connector. The pin layout is displayed in original manual at the page 7 or at the image above. Once the sensor is connected, it will be automatically recognized by LAN Controller and appropriate fields for setup will be displayed. The setup is very simple as well. Into “kal” field you must enter positive or negative value to calibrate zero value of current meter. If you purchased 31A sensor from GWL power, just enter ”2” into ACS Sensor type field. Now the sensor is ready for operation. Maximum allowed circuit voltage is AC/DC 100V, maximum continuous current is 31A! Do not exceed these ratings or you may damage LAN-MODULE-CURR or other components of your system. Links: the LAN controller, the LAN controller current sensor. | |
