FAQ: How to make a connection cable “Mennekes to Yazaki” ?

The solution is very simple. You will need the following products:

1. DSIEC2B

Plug-In Head, for mounting on cable - side to the charging station.

2. J1772-P5-16

J1772 Plug with quality cable 5m, 16 Amp rating.

Important details:
There is no need to install any EVSE electronics to the cable. The installation involves only one resistor to the product DSIEC2B, see diagram. EVSE electronics is already included in the outdoor charging station.

The product J1772-P5-16 already has installed the switch and the appropriate resistors.

The product DSIEC2B is supplied with required resistor 680 Ω, which must be connected to wires inside the connector between pins PP and PE.
