Can a solar panel charge an EV car?

The daily yield of a single panel at full sunshine in middle Europe is about 1kWh of energy (5x 200Wh). This may be enough for driving 5 to 8 km.

In this case, the solar panel helps to keep the battery voltage of the traction battery pack. It is more a curiosity, less a real energy supply.
