FAQ: EVBike controller error overview 21 – Power Error (Voltage Or Current Incorrect) Check the voltage level of the battery. Check the state of charge of the batter and the proper function of the battery protection circuits. Check connectors and cabling. If the error repeats you may need to have your controller checked for proper function. Please contact us. 22 – Accelerator Error This error will appear if the power grip is on during the power up of the EVBike controller. Do not move the power grip if you turn on the EVBike kit main power. Additionally the power grip may be defective or is not in the zero position. Check the power grip; check the wiring for short connection as well. You may need the power grip replacement. 23 – Engine Error (Phasing) The controller does not detect all of the motor phases (wires). Check the wiring to the motor. Check the power connector for the motor. All pins must be straight and fitting properly. If the problem appears frequently, please contact us. 24 - Engine Error (Hall Sensor) The controller does not detect all of the motor Hall sensors. Check the wiring to the motor. Check the power connector for the motor. All pins must be straight and fitting properly. If the problem appears frequently, please contact us. 25 – Brakes Error This error will appear if the brake handle is pushed during the power up of the EVBike controller. Do not press the brake handles if you turn on the EVBIke kit main power. Additionally the brake handles or the electric contact may be defective. Check the brake handles, check the wiring for short connection as well. You may need the brake handle replacement. 30 - Communication Error Check the cabling again, especially the main cable, connection to the LCD, brake handles wiring, power grip and pedelec rotation sensor.
