Prismatic LFP cells – thermal advantages

The demonstration of   the excellent thermal performance of the prismatic LFP cells.   The IR photo shows the real example and the calculated simulation of the high current discharge of the prismatic LFP cell.

The advantage of the prismatic LFP is that these cells have a massive block volume (and mass) and the heat is absorbed and distributed equally.  The photo shows that even during a   high-speed discharge with 2C,   the cell does not overheat.

The maximal temperature is   less than 40°C,   without any need for additional cooling or ventilation.
