UniFi AC Zero-Handoff roaming

Jednotky UniFi AC, UniFi AC Outdoor nepodporují funkci Zero-Handoff roaming.

Podrobnější informace viz vyjádření výrobce Ubiquiti:

The UniFi AC works on 256-QAM, a higher modulation scheme that increases data transfer efficiency and uses 80 MHz wide bandwidth that is 2x wider than current 802.11n solutions. This is reason why many 802.11ac enabled devices have issues syncing Zero Handoff with other devices working on 16-QAM/64-QAM Modulation Scheme and with such high channel width.

Our Developers are working hard to sync UniFi Ac to zero handoff with other UAP's without compromising the power and features of the UniFi Ac Device.

Normal Roaming hand-off from AP to AP is supported by all devices which normally takes only a few seconds as the user/client associates with the new AP. 802.11 nomadic roaming is a client assisted roaming which is supported by all UniFi models. However, Zero Handoff is AP assisted which is not supported when the Ap is linked to the other AP Wirelessly.
