GWL/Modular – CPM1 - Auxiliary Relays for High Power Outputs

As seen from the demonstration designs provided by GWL and also from the manual of the GWL/Modular CPM1 board, the high-power outputs need to be connected by means of the auxiliary relays.

The auxiliary relays provide another layer of protection and disconnection between the battery pack electronics and the high-power circuits, protecting the control boards like CPM1 and BCC against some power peaks, surges and on-off switching overload.
