The DC circuit disconnection

The manual disconnection is a must. Any load connected to the battery pack or any source of power connected to the battery pack should be disconnected manually in an easy and quick way.

This manual (hand-driven) “absolute OFF” disconnection is necessary for two reasons.

* Safety disconnection – quick disconnection in case of emergency or some irregular status/situation of the battery pack or the equipment.

* Permanent disconnection in case of suspended use. Again, for the reason of safety it is recommended to make a permanent disconnection in case your installation will not be used (e.g. in winter, during your holiday, etc.)

DC circuit disconnection can be done by means of the DC circuit braker, or the DC Main switch.
