If you install the BMS123 Smart use only insulated tools and be carefull when you install the modules to do not make short circuit at the cell.

The module will be demaged if the communication cable will be connected with the terminal of the cell during the instalation.

Install the modules by following steps:

1. Install the plus terminal of the IN modul on the first cell (plus terminal is plus of the whole pack)
2. Install the minus terminal of the IN module on the minus terminal of the first cell
3. The green LED of the IN module starts blinking
4. Continue with installing of the middle module as in the 1. and 2. steps on the second cell
5. Connect the IN module (out communication connector) with middle module (in communication connector).
6. The LED of middle module starts blinking
7. Repeat upper steps with others middle modules (communication wire is connected thru each middle module)
8. Connect the OUT module on the last cell by the same steps as upper
9. The relays on OUT module will be activated and the LED starts blinking too
10. Set the amount of cells and basic voltage levels on the module by the manual

If some LED on module is not blinking so the connection is wrong. Fix the connection first.

You can swicth on the managing application on your mobile phone after and make the final settings thru the application.
