Přepěťová ochrana pro Gigabit Ethernet při nestandardním PoE napájení

Bude přepěťová ochrana pro Gigabit Ethernet funkční i pokud používám zařízení s nestandardním PoE napájením (např. některé produkty zn. Motorola)?

Ano, nejen že je tato přepěťová ochrana plně kompatibilní se standardy 802.3af i 802.3at, je z hlediska ETH signálů a PoE napájení plně transparentní. Bude tedy fungovat i při použití se zařízeními, která mají PoE zapojená na neobvyklých vodičích. Jedinou podmínkou je zachování párů 1,2-3,6-4,5-7,8.
