FAQ: Communication between the charger and RT-BMS
Please see the definition of the 12V single status communication protocol between the RT-BMS and charger. UPDATE (2015/5): Please note this article was published in 2010. The RT-BMS was supported as a product at that time. That is why the “pin B5″ and “pin B6″, apply only to the RT-BMS. For other BMS systems, these must be a different wiring. NOTE: this kind analog charger management was originally designed for electric vehicles with a 12V on-board battery. You may need to find some “work-around” if your system does not have a 12V on-board battery.
