FAQ: The condition of the safety valve

Question: When making the regular inspection of the battery pack, I noticed that there is some salt-like powder around the safety valve. How does it come about?

Answer:

1. New cells

All cells shipped by GWL/Power are visually inspected before delivery. They are delivered in 100% perfect condition. If you receive a new cell right from the shipment and there is some dirt or moisture around the terminal, you should contact the shipping agent and place a complaint about the damage during the delivery. You can also contact GWL/Power for additional assistance prior using the cell.

2. Used cells – regular maintenance

As concerns cells that are used for some time already, these cells should be inspected regularly every few-hundred cycles. we welcome your questions.
