Wiring connection of the high-power relays for BMS123 Smart

The two diagrams show the wiring connection for the contactors connected to the OUT-BOARD of the BMS123 Smart.

The first situation shows the wiring of the “middle power” contactors (R1, R2). When the contactor coils work with safety voltage (<48V) and the current rating is bellow 2 Amp, the contactors may be controlled  from the OUT-BOARD on-board relays.

The second situation is for the “high power”  contactors. If the contactors coils work with a high voltage (>48V) or high currents (>2Amp), you need to have a separational auxiliary relays (contactors or solid state-relays) - SR1 and SR2.

Note: do not forget about using the reversed diode (aka anti-parallel diode) to avoid damage to contacts or semi-coductor components-
