Which to choose?  Choosing the BMS for your application

If you need a high voltage BMS for automotive applications (where the board DC system and the DC traction battery must be separated), use the BMS123 Automotive.

If you need a low system voltage and prefer a smart monitoring with your mobile phone or tablet, use the BMS123 Smart. This BMS supports to 2 to 255 cells.

If you have LTO cells, or need a solution for industrial applications with detailed recording of the cell status history, choose the BMS2405.  This BMS supports 6 to 24 cells.

If you wish to have a central BMS with wires to each cell, go for the BMS2405. If you prefer single wire distributed model with modules at each cell, go for the BMS123 Smart.
