Does BMS2405 allow firmware update? Can I update the firmware?

BMS2405 firmware change by the users is possible but not supported. For some special projects we may be able to offer a customized firmware to increase some functionality of the feature-rich device as BMS 2405 is.

For regular users, the only firmware supported is the firmware you had bought BMS2405 with. This firmware has been tested extensively and developed specifically for GWL. There should be no reason for changing.

What if there will be important firmware update in the future?

If there is an important update of BMS2405 in future, which would extend or improve the functionality of the product, then this firmware will be automatically recorded into all new units on stock and user manual documents will be updated at the same time.

Can I upgrade already purchased BMS2405?

Customer upgrade of older BMS2405 units is not supported, because up to this date there is no significant update of the firmware in GWL specification. If there would be such an update in future, we will start supporting firmware upgrade.  We will notify customers if there is a need to make the update of the firmware in the future.
